The Sims FreePlay review
The Sims™ FreePlay is a popular simulator being the next mobile title looking like the original very much. It plays in real time meaning that every action lasting an hour in the game will last the same time in real life. Sometimes you can feel you waste your time but still, it is very amazing to manage the Sims lives taking care of them all the time, growing gardens, cooking, working, loving, and hating. You will give them careers and complete goals.
Storyline 10/10
In this game, you are suggested to navigate several characters chosen from a shortlist of personalities. Now you are expected to create your Sim and achieve the goals. Your efforts will be recognized with life and experience points, simoleons, and the increase in the value of the town where the characters live. During the game, you will satisfy their six basic needs: energy, hunger, hygiene, social, bladder, and fun. As a result, the Sims will become “highly inspired”. There are free simoleons used for various basic things. All other features can be bought with real money. It should be mentioned that the price is rather high.
The Sim really entertains. First, you are suggested to customize the outfits and looks of all the Sims choosing appearance and clothes as often as you want. You will create the stories for them, playing with their hearts and involving them in various affairs. You can decide on their professions, hobbies, and preferences, rebuild their homes and design the premises selecting furniture and accessories. You should spend money to buy those things but first, the Sims should earn them by working or performing various tasks. Of course, it is possible to speed up the events and spend the real money. Also, the lifestyle points can be purchased or earned while you are leveling up.
Be ready to build houses, hunt the job, and develop the relationships. The characters can have sex but without graphic details, they can fight against each other. At the end of the game, you are allowed to share the scores via the Game Center social network. You are not obliged to participate in society. This is the optional feature.
Graphics and Sound 10/10
The graphics are just as you used to see in this series. There are a lot of details and plenty of objects around. The game provides a great level of customizability. You will see the changes to the left of your screen. You will use various tools to tweak an avatar with your finger only. If you do not want to apply your creativity, you can tap the orange “random” button and get a ready sim. You will see the surroundings from the above. The interface is intuitive and controls developed for fingertips are responsive.
