Block Craft 3D: Building Simulator Games For Free review

It’s a Minecraft-like game where you can build your own world. Not only you create the villages how you want, but you can create buildings of your own design. Visit other players’ villages, get more villagers of your own and enjoy being the ultimate boss.

Storyline 5/10

The only difference with Minecraft is that you don’t actually extract resources, just build. In your village not only I live, but I can “equip” new villagers. I can choose their clothes, hats, and weapons. Together we have to buy and build different buildings like huts, workshops, mills, lighthouses including famous sightseeings of the world (Parthenon, Tower of Pisa, Eiffel Tower and others).

You can get more gems by watching ads and buy them for real money (prices are from 5$ up to 100$). You need gems to buy coins, teleports, and tickets. You need coins to buy different kinds of facilities and buildings for your village and tickets are for gifts from the gift machine (for example you can win a cat there). Just for real money, you can get the ability to fly (around 3$) which is cool and make the whole game easier and faster.

For building and expanding your village, you get higher levels. You need them to purchase new buildings along with the game’s money. You can create and sell to other players your own buildings, you get gems for that.

Graphics 4/10

I personally don’t like this kind of graphics - too pixelated, I think it’s for kids. The buildings look like piles of blocks, the animals and humans look the same. The blocks have a different texture, but visually it doesn’t look impressive. I did like that it has daytime and nighttime shifts, so it felt more like a real world and also it has not bad twilight and dawn views.

You have all the tools needed on your screen: your stats on the top left, top right: coins, gems, Build and Fly icons, at the bottom right - your inventory where you choose the type of block to build and you can choose different items for your exterior and interior.

There first and third person views available. Also, you can look at your village from the top.

Sound 7/10

Music is soft, subtle and calm. I think it perfectly fits the game and gave me the feeling of really being somewhere in a nice place. So I think that Block Craft’s music is adding to the gaming experience.

Good

I’m not a fan of this game. I didn’t like the graphics and controls were little awkward - I couldn’t move by joystick properly. I didn’t appreciate the gameplay where you have to create buildings by one block at a time, and there was no way to force the process. I did play this game a little though and created my own little village but I got bored pretty quickly, and after some time all the building started to look the same. I saw other players’ villages and appreciated how amazing of the world they’ve built. Also, it’s very simple to understand and play this game - since the beginning, I had support and got hints during the entire gaming experience. So, in the end, it’s not a bad game, it’s light, fun and stress-free. If you don’t have your favorite game yet, I recommend to try this one.
