Cookie Crush review
It’s one of the best three-in-a-row types of games with cookies. Get the points, get the stars, compete with your friends or other players. Receive gifts and surprises every day. You have to get a lot of candies and cookies to help the chef to get to giant panda and other cute creatures. Don’t worry you’ll understand once you play. So let’s get to it!
Storyline 10/10
You’re in the wonderland, a magic forest, where you have to get to different fairy tale creatures. Your path is made of eggs, each egg is a new level where you have to put different types of candies and cookies in a row. But each level is different - you have a goal of attaining different types of candy or ice, you can see that in the jar at the top left of your screen.
When you finish each egg, you get points and stars, 3 stars for each time max. For 4 eggs in a row, you get a gift - I usually got coins. You can buy separate items like Spoon, Glove, Bombs or the whole packs with several of them. You can get 5 coins for watching ads and you can buy coins for real money (prices from 1$ to 100$).
For real money you can also become a senior member - this gives you no ads, 20% extra scores, unlimited reputation, heart and rainbow for 20 mins, 1 extra energy every day. If you log in through Facebook you can participate in tournaments with real players who made the game more fun for me, and I immediately invited my friends to join, and now we play together. Trophies in this game are important in this kind of game because they give you more motivation to continue playing. They are: personal (collect 45 stars, 21 painted eggs, etc.) and special (collect 30 ices or 30 creams by one move, 30 match chain etc.).
Graphics 10/10
Surprisingly good graphics. It’s not new or original, but I think it’s tasteful and appropriate for this game. The characters are cute and adorable, the animation isn’t annoying as you can see in some games - the creators of Cookie Crush focused on the gameplay, not something not important. It has decent graphics effects - flashes, bombs, confetti - all at the right time with the right length. You can always skip some graphic effect if you don’t want to see it, that’ what I always do. There is a lot of variety in graphics too - different shapes, colors, and characters so I didn’t get tired of it. The colors are soft, not too bright, gentle to the eyes.
Sound 10/10
Music in this app is just right. It suits the app perfectly - it’s cute, it’s fun, it’s catchy. I’m so used to the music and the game, so I constantly play it in my head and go to my happy place.
